We believe in God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth who is holy and loving.
We believe in God, the Son, Jesus Christ who was from the Father and came down from heaven for our salvation, who suffered death on the cross and on the third day, rose again and is now seated at the right hand of the Father and will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in God, the Holy Spirit, the giver of life and with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified and has spoken through the Prophets, who is our Counselor and Comforter.
We believe the Bible is inspired by God, accurate and is the authoritative Word of God.

The Discipleship’s 10 Expressions of Love
We believe there are ten expressions of Love that we can develop in our walk of discipleship.
These are closely associated with the two great commandments quoted from Mark 12:30-31.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.

A Cell Church
We also believe that the cell church is the vehicle to accomplish God’s vision and mission for our church. In the first century, the Christian church was organised in this way when Jesus’s disciples met from house to house. Later, John Wesley also gathered believers together in classes and bands.
Therefore, besides the Sunday corporate services, another important aspect of life in the body of Christ is the cell group. Cells form the basic Christian community for every believer and the church is built from these. As the cells grow together, they in turn move out to bless the people around us. The cell is thus not only about programmes or events, but is about life transformation where members encounter God, His power and love, and then sharing and inviting others to do the same.
Underlying the cell church strategy is the principle that every Christian is a minister. According to Ephesians 4:11-16, the role of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, is to equip God’s people so that every believer does the work of ministry.
Hence every PLMC member is highly encouraged to be in a cell group which provides that holistic environment for growth and active participation in the life of the church, and to the nations beyond. Cells are also a good platform for pre-believing friends to explore the faith and experience the Christian community.
