From Dyslexia to A Whole New World

My daughter, Isabelle, was having learning difficulties all through Primary 1. We prayed, and asked intercessors to pray for her. We were often frustrated having to coach her in her class assignments. Last Nov, she was diagnosed to be dyslexic, and had to undergo extra intervention therapy. It was taxing on her. Yet, it was also around that time that we discovered she had a talent for singing. Isabelle has been selected as a finalist and will represent Singapore in the World Championship of Performing Arts in Hollywood in July 2013. She has been awarded a $888 scholarship. We praise and thank God for His hand upon Isabelle’s life – when one door seems shut (in terms of studies), God has opened up a whole new world for her. Truly, our Father works in mysterious yet marvelous ways! Hallelujah! – Irene
