CORPORATE

OUTREACH MINISTRY

Outreach Prayer (October 2025)

Dearest friends and co-labourers in God, I greet you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Please pray along with me:

Dear Lord, we remember the Primary 6 students in Hope SCC who are taking their PSLE, and we lift them to you in prayer now. We want to pray for your peace and guidance to be upon them as they sit for their exams.

May your peace that surpasses all understanding calm their hearts and minds, protecting them from any worry or anxiety that would prevent them from doing their best for the exams.

And once their exams are over, we pray that you grant them rest and reassurance that their results and futures are in your hands.

Even as the nation celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival and Deepavali this month, we want to remember and pray for our migrant worker brothers from China and India.

You see the sacrifices they make to work and support their families. May you be their source of comfort and strength when they need. Protect them, oh Lord, from sicknesses and injuries.

We pray that you would bless them with bosses who will look after their needs with kindness and compassion. We acknowledge the hard work and sacrifices that our brothers must make, and we pray that we will not take this for granted. We seek your forgiveness for the times when we have viewed them as lesser in our thoughts, actions, and speech.

Finally, we want to give thanks for the people who have stepped forward thus far to be ambassadors for the Christmas Village. We thank you for the willing hearts who have agreed to create and deliver joy for Christmas. We continue to pray for more ambassadors to step forward to serve in the different areas of need for the Christmas Village.

We also pray for the church congregation that you would prepare their hearts to invite their friends from the community to the Christmas Village. We pray for openness and receptiveness from both sides, and that ultimately, your love and joy would shine through.

Father, help us to live this day to the full, being true to You in everything we do.

Jesus, help us to give ourselves away to others, showing kindness to everyone we meet.

Holy Spirit, help us to love the lost and to proclaim Christ in all that we do and say.

We pray all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
