OUTREACH MINISTRY

Outreach Prayer (December 2025)

Dearest friends and co-labourers in God, I greet you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Please pray along with me:

We first pray for the primary 6 students from Hope Student Care Centre. They have recently received their PSLE results and are now in the process of choosing their secondary schools. Please grant them wisdom to make informed decisions, and may You also give them peace once the decisions have been made. 

We thank You for their lives and for the time that they have spent in HSCC. We pray, Oh Lord, that they would continue to grow and mature into youths who love You and love others. May the lessons and friendships that they have gained in HSCC sustain them long after they have graduated, and may You be their constant guide in life. 

We also commit all of the outreach programmes this month into your hands. As the co-workers go out to reach the community around PLMC, may they bring Christmas joy and Your love with them. We thank you for this wonderful opportunity to partner with you in blessing others. We pray that even as we seek to tangibly and physically bless the recipients, You would work in their hearts to touch them spiritually.

As we move closer to the Christmas Village, we give thanks once again for the people who have stepped forward to serve. We continue to pray for fair weather to be upon the church during those three days so that all of the planned activities can be carried out.  

Bless us with boldness and confidence to invite people to the event, so that they may also experience the joy behind Christmas. We pray for open and receptive hearts to respond not only to the invitation, but also to respond to You.

Father, help us to live this day to the full, being true to You in everything we do. 

Jesus, help us to give ourselves away to others, showing kindness to everyone we meet. 

Holy Spirit, help us to love the lost and to proclaim Christ in all that we do and say. 

We pray all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

FILIPINO SERVICE

1. FS Christmas Celebration
• Pray for a joyful and meaningful Christmas Celebration on 14 December.
• Pray for smooth preparations and that the event will strengthen our sense of family and community.
2. Invited Guests
• Pray for all who were invited during FS Outreach on 30 November and 7 December, that they will join the service and celebration.
3. FS Worshippers Away from Home
• Pray for FS worshippers who cannot travel home, that they will not feel lonely and find comfort and belonging in PLMC FS community.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Silver Boxes
1. We thank God for the End of Year Exams and PSLE. We pray for the children to continue to know they are in Christ, and for them to know their worth in Christ.
2. Pray for our leaders a Connect wait upon the Lord, on whether to continue serving or to take a break and serve in other ministries in the church.
3. Pray for our P5 and P6 children to encounter Jesus and to be a blessing in the upcoming Blessing Projects –
b. 19 December to 21 December – Christmas Village Blessing Project.

SOUTH EAST ASIA

BL

  • Pray for BL to grow in intimacy with God and to have clarity of His plans for them this season.

Sara & Yutaro

  • Pray for Yutaro all of his concerns as he continues to serve the campus ministry.
  • Pray for Sara’s language learning.

PARACHURCH WORKERS

Navigator’s Singapore: Roger Yeo & Pearlyn Pang

  • Pray for Roger, Pearlyn, Kevin, Johan, Kristine, Joel Loh and Joel Tio, that together we will continue growing in faith, hope and love as we labour together as partners in the gospel and faith, embracing fully the grace that has come for our sakes. Phil 1:4-6
  • Pray that God would continue to work in the hearts of J1, J2, T, M, QG, E, W, XH and S – that the message of the Lord may spread through our friendships. We hope and pray that they would give their lives to Jesus even as we intentionally share the love of Christ. 2 Thess 3:1
  • Pray for couples and small families in our ministry as they transit to this next stage of life; that we may have wisdom to know how to involve them.

  • Please keep Dan & Esther and their son Josef in prayer for protection from sickness and any accidents.
  • Please pray for Dan & Esther boldness and open hearts when they go out to the streets to share the Gospel.  Pray for fruitful follow ups.

MISSIONS ATTACHMENT PROGRAM

J&A (South Asia)

Praise:

  • J & A are thankful for the gift of music that they can use to serve the body.
  • Thankful for a restful and encouraging time reconnecting with friends serving in another rural village in the country.

Prayers:

  • Pray for J&A’s family to have open hearts as they hear God stories in J&A’s time in South Asia.
  • Pray for J&A to be discerning and to prioritize God. 

Marcus (South Asia)

  • Pray for Marcus to be faithful to God and His church that he will not be swayed.
  • Pray for Marcus as he journeys with some young adults from youth camp.

MISSIONS PARTNERS

East Asia: Songs

  • Pray for the Songs wisdom as they recruit new field workers.
  • Pray for the TAN workers’ family’s health and for the people they are reaching out to.

East Asia: Mongolia Churches

  • Pray for more workers to serve at the youth ministry.
  • Pray for the churches to grow spiritually and physically.

South Asia: India Churches

  • Pray for the safety of all the workers, pastors, evangelists and staff.
  • Pray for His protection to surround them all as they press on, doing His Kingdom’s work.
  • Pray for God’s provision for all of their needs and support.
  • Pray for the works among the Unreached people groups like the Kond, Kui, Mali, Bhagata, Lohar and Munda tribes. Pray for the establishing of strong local indigenous churches among the UPGs.

South Asia: CCI Bangladesh

  • Pray that believers will stand firm in faith and to serve the Lord faithfully amid persecution.
  • Pray for the safety and security of the Christians and Hindu minority.

Central Asia:

  • Pray for wisdom in planning and provision for winter relief efforts and the situation at the borders.
  • Pray for God’s sustenance and breakthrough amid ongoing persecution for C&M’s ministry work at their home country.
  • Pray for salvation of souls.  May God give C&M and their team members joy and perseverance to continue ministry work.

MISSIONS MINISTRY

Pray for our missions trippers, going to the various places within Asia.  Pray for safety and God’s protection.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Multiple METs and STMs involving youth in 2025:

  • Pray for God’s covering over them, spiritually, physically and emotionally.
  • Pray for unity within the teams.
  • Pray for soft ground in the mission field and for God to work through the teams to minister to the people there.
    Pray for team members to have soft hearts, that they will be ministered to and transformed.

Cluster 09 Retreat:

  • Pray for tender hearts among the youths and leaders to draw closer to God and each other through this time.

Reach’In Out 24/25 Hope SCC Outing:

  • Pray for good weather, smooth running, and God’s favour, working in the hearts of the children at Hope SCC as the youth play and minister with them.

New YM Leaders for 2026:

  • As we begin to look for new leaders for YM in 2026, pray that God would stir up and call people into serving in YM, that they would hear His call and answer willingly, and that we would be able to find these people quickly.
