The 21st century is by far the most complex that we have encountered. The pervasiveness of global interactions and communications, coupled with the rise of Artificial Intelligence and the time we spend in the digital space, demands a more robust response to variegated yet interlinked issues than simply proof texting a biblical text.

This short course seeks to provide lay Christians with a basic framework to think critically and faithfully about issues we face today.

This is not merely abstraction, it seeks to ask how we can discern and live out a faithful response to complex situations that we find ourselves in. We will do so by learning how to integrate biblical, cultural, contextual and communal content in the first lesson. This is then followed by a mini-project, where participants will form groups to apply the framework to a situation of their own choice. In the second session, we will view each other’s presentations as we consolidate and refine our learnings.
