Why a Hawker Food Tour?
J.I.A.K 99 offers a unique culinary journey through Singapore’s rich food heritage — from bustling street markets and traditional shophouses of the past to the vibrant hawker centres we know today. In Singapore’s early days, immigrants brought with them recipes, flavours, and stories from their homelands. If their food could speak, what tales would it tell?
Singapore’s hawker culture is a living heritage, where generations of culinary tradition come together in every iconic dish. J.I.A.K 99 celebrates our multicultural roots by spotlighting time-honored recipes from passionate hawkers who’ve served up slurping-good food for decades.
