5 July 2026
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Greetings in the name of the Lord!
As we approach the end of the financial year on 31 July 2026, we are reminded of God’s abundant provisions and blessings. Through your faithful tithes and offerings, we have been able to carry out our Outreach, Missions and other ministry programs, being a family blessed to bless the community and the nations. A report on the impact of your giving on our community outreach & social concerns, discipleship and missions programs is in the annex.
The church leaders have approved our Church budget for the new financial year, 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027. Our forecast is that we will spend $11.8m. The pie chart below illustrates the breakdown of our planned expenditures.

In line with our church vision of blessing the community and the nations, we dedicate 53% of our annual budget to church ministries, community outreach & social concerns and missions.
Our community outreach & social concerns programs include block blessings in Buangkok, Lorong Lew Lian, Serangoon and Woodleigh; bursaries to PLMGPS, PLMGSS and others; ministry to the elderly, abused, destitute, homeless and migrant workers; Hope Student Care; Sonshine Kids and B12 programs.
We continue to send and support missionaries, missioners and mission partners in Japan, Central Asia and other ASEAN nations. Through partnerships with mission agencies and indigenous ministries, we participate in God’s work of training disciples, planting churches, developing Christian leaders, and serving communities in practical ways.
The remaining 47% of our expenses goes towards sustaining the essential operations of our church. This includes supporting our staff team, fulfilling our commitment to the
Trinity Annual Conference, and maintaining our church buildings and facilities to ensure they remain welcoming spaces for worship, ministry, and community life.
The redevelopment of our church building has progressed to the concept design phase. Our pastors, leaders and ministry heads are working closely with the appointed architects to envision and plan spaces that will support our ministries, expand outreach opportunities, and serve the needs of future generations. The goal is to create a church home that will remain effective, welcoming and sustainable for the next 30 years and beyond. When the design plans are finalised later this year, we will provide further updates on the project and its funding requirements, which are not reflected in the budget presented above.
We will be observing Pledge Sunday on 2 August 2026 where we, as church members, renew our commitment to the Lord by supporting His work at PLMC with our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. We ask you to prayerfully consider your pledges for the new church year. Each of our circumstances is unique, and we ask that you respond in faith as the Lord leads.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
As you prayerfully consider your giving, you may to submit your pledge electronically to access the e-Pledge Form.
May our Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you honour Him in your giving!
