The 21st century is by far the most complex that we have encountered. The pervasiveness of global interactions and communications, coupled with the rise of Artificial Intelligence and the time we spend in the digital space, demands a more robust response to variegated yet interlinked issues than simply proof-texting a biblical text.

This short course seeks to provide lay Christians with a basic framework to think critically and faithfully about issues we face today.

Learn to discern and live out a faithful response to complex situations that we find ourselves in. The first lesson will cover how to integrate biblical, cultural, contextual and communal content. This is then followed by a mini-project, where participants will form groups to apply the framework to a situation of their own choice.

In the second session, we will view each other’s presentations as we consolidate and refine our learnings.
