God’s Miraculous Multiplication by Darren Teo

In January 2025, Drawing from Heaven (PLMC’s Prophetic Art Ministry) was approached by the PLMC team organising the Methodist Welfare Services’ annual fundraising event, Fellowship on the Greens. They would like to collaborate with us to auction some of our paintings at the gala dinner on August 6.

PLMC is the convening church for this year’s event. All donations and pledges raised will be matched by a private fund and Government’s Community Silver Trust. Every dollar raised from the charity auction will be multiplied five times, with the proceeds going to bless the MWS Nursing Home in Eunos.

The Drawing from Heaven team generously donated five paintings. A pre-bidding exercise indicated that most paintings had people undertaking to donate between $3,000 and $4,000 for each painting. This could mean a potential collection of about $20,000.

Artists prepared recorded videos to showcase the paintings and describe their ‘downloads’ from God that inspired the works, with the help of PLMC Comms team.

The charity dinner event was set on Wednesday 6 August 2025 at the Orchid Country Club. During the dinner, four of the paintings were fetched bids of $3,500 to $4,000 each.

Just before the event, a donor R informed that he would not be able to attend the auction but would like to increase his undertaking to purchase a painting to $10,000. But the painting, entitled ‘The Third Day’ which I had painted, spoke to another donor M who was attending the dinner, who successfully bid for it at $10,500.

Apparently, M had a phone screensaver that flashed ‘Third Day’ on his phone that night. He added that it was his ‘theme for the year’.

Even though he was not successful in the auction, R later said he would also be donating $10,000. That means that ‘The Third Day’ painting brought in a total of $20,500. This amount will be further multiplied five times to bless MWS Nursing Home Eunos. Praise the Lord!

On introspection, I saw God’s hand in the entire process. In previous editions of the event, donors never bid beyond $400 for paintings. Like the video message for ‘The Third Day’ painting, God is doing a new thing and according to His Kairos time. He had done miracles in the past to bless His people, and He will continue to do now and in the future.

This experience is, to me, a repeat of the miraculous multiplication of the five loaves and two fish. The Drawing from Heaven team offered their five loaves and two fish in faith, God accepted the offering and multiplied these many times over, from the usual $400 per painting to $4,000 for each painting this time.

Dear friends, do not despise the gifts that God has deposited in you, nor small beginnings. Even if you have only one talent, invest into His Kingdom, God will multiply that one talent manifold.
