The first step towards building an inclusive church is to build awareness. This workshop helps participants develop a foundational understanding of disability and how it exists within the Church today. By exploring the Church’s Biblical role towards persons with disabilities, it challenges us to move beyond worldly perceptions to embrace a Christ-centred view of disability. This workshop is designed for congregation members generally, equipping them to see disability through the lens of faith and fostering a culture of understanding and inclusion.

Key Objectives

  • Increase awareness of disability, and how it exists in the Church
  • Learn how each person has a part to play in the experience of disability, and what disability inclusion is for the church
