In the Methodist Church of Singapore, pastors are in The Itinerant Ministry and are appointed to their churches on an annual basis. Some appointments may be made in the course of the year during the Special Session in July.
We will be holding a thanksgiving cum farewell service for Pastor Jacob, to thank him for his faithful service here at PLMC over the last 6.5 years. All are welcome to come and bless him as we send him on to his new assignment with the Lord!
在新加坡卫理公会，牧者属于「巡回牧职」（Itinerant Ministry），并由教会每年进行一次委任。部分委任也可能于每年七月举行的特别议会（Special Session）期间作出调整。
